Support for the GLCCB comes from many places, including annual fundraisers. The largest of these is Baltimore Pride which the Center has coordinated for over 25 years. Through various events, the GLCCB is able to conduct outreach to the community, promote its mission, and raise much-needed support for its activities.

Baltimore Pride – A free outdoor event attracting 20 – 30,000 celebrants every year, Baltimore Pride is the largest GLBT festival in Maryland. Spanning one weekend and consisting of a high-energy downtown block party and a more sedate outdoor festival in one of Baltimore’s largest public parks, Baltimore Pride is an enormous undertaking made possible by the efforts of a committed group of individuals and volunteers. Bingo – This isn’t your grandmother’s Bingo.

Held every Wednesday night at Club Hippo. Since it began in September of 2002, Gay Bingo has raised over $150,000 for the Center. Raising critical funds for charity has never been easier, or more fun!

In July, 2006, we began sharing bingo proceeds with AIDS Action Baltimore. Many thanks to Club Hippo for their support and commitment to this event and our missions.
