The Center is located in Baltimore's historic Mt. Vernon neighborhood. Mt. Vernon is known as Baltimore’s cultural district, where the Peabody Conservatory, Walter’s Art Museum, Washington Place with its many historic city mansions, the Baltimore Symphony, as well as numerous schools and colleges, theaters, shops, cafes, restaurants, and clubs are all located amid a rich architectural backdrop.

Baltimore ’s GLBT community also finds its home in Mt. Vernon. The Center has called Mt. Vernon home since the late 1970’s.

The Center is walking distance from Baltimore’s Penn Station and many Mt. Vernon attractions. The Center also houses a GLBT bookstore, so please stop by to pick up maps or information about activities in the area.
