Achieve, Cultivate, and Educate (ACE) Enrichment Class Series - ACE classes provide learning opportunities for the LGBT community in a safe and affirming environment to enhance and enrich community members’ lives. For information regarding current class and course offerings visit the ACE webpage.

Alcoholics Anonymous – The only requirement for membership in Alcoholics Anonymous is a desire to stop drinking. Alcoholics Anonymous meets two times per week at the Gay and Lesbian Community Center. The two groups are the Chase Brexton Beginners Group meeting on Monday evening at 8:30 p.m. and the Green Group meets at 6:30 p.m. on Saturdays. Book Discussion Group – This group meets to talk about a selected piece of literature on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. Check our calendar page for exact dates and book selections.

Yoga - Beginners' Yoga, $9 per person; drop-ins are welcome. Yoga mats provided. Sundays, 3:30PM.

Wednesday evening classes at 7:15 p.m. in room 201. Beginners' yoga with Kelly O'Neal, CYT for $9 per person. For Wednesday classes only, an eight (8) class Yoga Access Pass can be purchased for $50. Call 410-837-5445 ext. 10 for details.

– Maryland’s GLBT Community Newspaper. Begun as a monthly newsletter, the Baltimore Gay Paper (BGP) has been continuously published by the GLCCB since September 1979. Now published bi-weekly under the name of Gay Life, it has a readership of over 40,000 throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Please visit www.baltimoregaylife.com to read the latest issue online.

Health – The Health Committee coordinates efforts to educate the community on health related issues.

HIV and STD Testing -

HIV testing at the center is better than ever! In addition to the traditional antibody testing, we offer a viral test that can detect infections within days or weeks after they occur. This test has been used by blood banks for years, and is now being offered to individuals.

Testing is confidential and can be done for HIV, gonorrhea, chalmydia and syphilis. Test results are generally available in in two weeks. Testing and results are available during these times:

Tuesdays 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Wednesdays 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Thursdays 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Testing is provided through a collaboration between the GLCCB Health Committee, Johns Hopkins’ Project LifeLYNES, and the Batimore City Health Department.

Narcotics Anonymous – Meets every Sunday at 11:30 a.m.

Peer 2 Peer – The Peer 2 Peer program is a peer counseling, information and referral service staffed by trained peer counselors. These services are available in-person, by appointment, by telephone or via the internet. To schedule an in-person appointment call 410-837-5445.

Pride in the Arts – The GLCCB offers free and low-cost art events for the community on the 4th Friday of every month.
